What is SHPA?
Surgical Health Policy Advocacy (SHPA) is the interaction of healthcare professionals with legislative and regulatory processes to impact patient care delivery, care delivery systems, and patient access to care. This includes professional issues, in order to improve the overall care of surgical patients across the spectrum of local, regional, state, and federal government agencies.
